Shop Building Update

Firstly we would like to apologise that the shop has not been updated for the past few weeks. We have an issue with the SF program and it wont allow us to update the shop. The file has been sent off to the computer whizzes at SF and once they have it repaired the shop will be updated. This doesnt affect any orders you wish to place, as the shop is still fully functional, we just can't put any new stuff in there yet...

Well the shop is progressing again now that seeding is finished, whilst we wait for the rain and the weeds to grow...

The Building is almost finished - the final wall will be done once the roof trusses are up!

A scrap shop in Perth has closed down - Marg was able to purchase all the shop fittings for a really good price. Here are the pictures of the shop being dismantled and packed up.

Surprise Designer Kit

Have you registered to be a SURPRISE DESIGNER? If you are not a member of the FORUM you can still register by emailing me to be placed on the list. All you need to do then is to order by the 20th of the month - in two consectutive months - to be placed in the draw. If your name is pulled out you recieve the kit FREE in your order. You then create a layout or two with the kit and email it back to us to be included in the newsletter. When you are creating your Surprise Designer Kit you are not limited to using only what is in the kit, you can add your own embellishments if you need too. So why not get your name into the draw?

A new feature in this edition of the newsletter. This month the Designers were challenged to:





"I'd love to see some getting back to basics layouts - just good design principles without eye-catching embellishments which compensate for a multitude of sins IMO. Pages like: cardstock only more than 3 photos 100 words or more of journalling handmade embellishments using only CS or PP (things like tags, journalling boxes, paper piecing, punchies) hand cut title I could list a gazillion things! And I'd really like to challenge one very clever, very skilled, very creative designer to have a go at using the above list on just one page without it looking cluttered or busy. Now that's a challenge. "

Hopefully by now you have seen these bags in the Shop!

What a fantastic innovation... keeps all your ribbons in the one place and keep them out of the dust.

I have just spent the last two days transforming this:

I must admit loading the bag up was a big pain in the butt - but well worth the finished result. These ribbon purses hold over 200 ribbons - amazingly I thought I would have filled it... But I still have room for plenty more... I think I need to invest in some different coloured ribbons though!

The first shipment of these bags have sold out... Supplies have been restocked so don't miss out on the next lot!
