Surprise Designer Kit

Have you registered to be a SURPRISE DESIGNER? If you are not a member of the FORUM you can still register by emailing me to be placed on the list. All you need to do then is to order by the 20th of the month - in two consectutive months - to be placed in the draw. If your name is pulled out you recieve the kit FREE in your order. You then create a layout or two with the kit and email it back to us to be included in the newsletter. When you are creating your Surprise Designer Kit you are not limited to using only what is in the kit, you can add your own embellishments if you need too. So why not get your name into the draw?

Challenge the Designers

A new feature in this edition of the newsletter. This month the Designers were challenged to:

"I'd love to see some getting back to basics layouts - just good design principles without eye-catching embellishments which compensate for a multitude of sins IMO. Pages like: cardstock only more than 3 photos 100 words or more of journalling handmade embellishments using only CS or PP (things like tags, journalling boxes, paper piecing, punchies) hand cut title I could list a gazillion things! And I'd really like to challenge one very clever, very skilled, very creative designer to have a go at using the above list on just one page without it looking cluttered or busy. Now that's a challenge. "

Check out what the Designers have created HERE in the Gallery. And now Michelle has challenged the users of the forum HERE so make sure you check it out and see what you can create. There is a surprise prize pack up for grabs.

It's Action-All-Go!

At the site of Country Papercrafts new Bricks & Mortar Store.

The long awaited dream is finally being fulfilled as you can see by the action photos.

Surveying the site

Clearing the site

Lopping off the timbers

Carting the sand for the pad

More Sand

Levelling the sand, and laying the power cables

Pouring the concrete

Cutting the walls

At this rate it wont be long before we are back showing you the new building (LOL thats if seeding preparations don't get in the way!)

Ribbon Bags

Hopefully by now you have seen these bags in the Shop!

What a fantastic innovation... keeps all your ribbons in the one place and keep them out of the dust.

I have just spent the last two days transforming this:

Into This:

I must admit loading the bag up was a big pain in the butt - but well worth the finished result. These ribbon purses hold over 200 ribbons - amazingly I thought I would have filled it... But I still have room for plenty more... I think I need to invest in some different coloured ribbons though!

The first shipment of these bags have sold out... Supplies have been restocked so don't miss out on the next lot!

BANNER COMPETITION

With the release of our new look Newsletter on Friday, we now need a new BANNER for the Newsletter. So we are running a competition in the forum...
