November Christmas Card Challenge 2 - use a Christmas Tree on your card

Hey again everyone! Gosh Sunday rolls around quick doesn't i!

Here is Challenge 2 - Use a Christmas Tree on your card

In my example, I made some Christmas Trees using the gorgeous Pink Paislee paper tape. I did this by using a scrap section of cardstock (about 8x3 inches in size), and adhering sections of the two tapes to it in a strip pattern.

Then I cut the triangles out of this section - I roughed out a template from another cardstock scrap which I used for the bigger triangles, the smaller ones were cut freehand. After making the cards from cardstock, and cutting out the small pieces for the tree bases, I just stuck them on and topped them with a Kaiser Pearl.

Some of the trees were smaller, so I decided to use these ones to make the landscape oriented cards. I really like how these turned out, especially as they are christmassey without using traditional christmas colours!

All supplies are available in the shop.

I can't wait to see your take on this challenge - please share your creation in the Christmas Card Gallery Here, and select the gallery for Challenge 2.

**** You don't need to have these cards uploaded each week either to be eligible to be entered in the prize draw - as long as you sumbit cards in all four categories by no later than Midnight Nov 30th WST, you will be in with a chance to win! **********
