I would just like to introduce you to Thelma, she has just joined our design team.
I asked her to tell us a little about herself.
Hi my name is Thelma.....I have been scrapping ... (PLAYING!) since January 2011....
Whilst I have always had a love of wall pictures/paintings, I am not an artist. I love colours and putting them together but I do not have the patience to put a "'piece of art (my definition of painting...) together'; but you never know that could be in a future life...
Scrapbooking... my passion and love......
my definition is.....
I like throwing things together and trying to make them work together, the greater the diversity it seems the stronger I find the challenge... I enjoy it all thoroughly. (My belief is there is no failure, we are playing and enhancing our personal concept of the photo and its story... it all works xxx)
I really enjoy gently helping others develop through this sense of fulfilment.
I like stretching through my own thoughts and techniques and situations. I sometimes need to be reminded, still being so new, I sometimes forget some basic techniques that can help make your page come to life ... I feel I need to slow down at times just to enjoy the moment when the page comes together and feel the "artist" within blossom....
I would like to believe that I could help make others blossom and collectively there will always be lasting memories within our photos for our future generations.
Me, myself, I... wife of 1, mother of 2, carer of one 89 yr old mother -(living separately); working part-time (at this stage) - Education Dept;
Interests include: scrapbooking, reading, travelling, Red Hatters, golf, lawn bowls, local footy with sons involved , AND meeting new people with similar and/OR differing interests to mine.."my mind will always be open to new diversities... this way it will grow, explore and extend to greater boundaries in a safe and comfortable environment" I encourage others to join me in this journey .
Keep your eyes open for some of her lovely work in the newsletters and gallery.
Take care,
Marg.
