Hi all,
Sorry I am late…being Friday today and this is Thursday’s challenge…oops.
I would like you to do a masculine layout…using blokey colours and embellishments.
At least (of all these things) 3 photos, 4 papers, 5 words in the title, 6 embellishments.
Have fun, looking forward to seeing your creations in the gallery.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Marg.
ps...I will try to get an example done and posted in here later.

I've got a wee challenge for you ...

A big hi-de-hi, it's me [Michelle] from across the ditch ...

Technology is amazing, I can post my wee challenge from the land of the long white cloud - just saying.

So ... my challenge for you this week ... to scrap a layout using a photo of family members of an older generation - my photo is a special photo, of two very special people in my life - my grandparents.

But ... and isn't there always a but ... you've also got to use a little fabric, a little paint, a little metal and more than one tag ...

Don't forget to upload your creativity in the gallery.
Until next time, happy creating.
Michelle [aka Mrs Frizz]

Weekend Challenge - Summertime

As Summertime draws to an end (don't worry, the weather man doesn't know what he's doing right now...so if you want Summer to stay a bit longer, it probably will, and if you've had enough, then it's probably long gone!).......

This weekend, I'd like you to scrap a layout about an activity you did or saw this Summer. (Or last Summer, since some of us won't have had many photo opportunities this Summer!)

Here's my sample:

Using up some Echo Park papers from a kit fairly recently and a Paper Inklings Rub on.
Have fun!

Thursday Challenge...

Hellooooooo!

I am still trying to get my head above water... Literally! In between swimming lessons, I have also been stuck in a town with flash flooding, (a new experience for me - driving through flooded waters - with a panicky passenger).  But tomorrow is the final day of swimming lessons for me until December :-( I really do enjoy it!

Anyways my challenge to you today is to use on your layout....

4 patterned paper from different manufacturers
2 complimentary cardstock colours (think colour wheel)
A mixed media title (chipboard, rubons, foam alphas, stamped - just a mixture of them all)
At least 3 photos
6 ribbons
3 flowers (or circle embellishments if doing a boy page)
1 die cut
1 journalling block
3 flourishes
Look forward to seeing your creations..

Tuesday Challenge - Landscape Photos!

Hey everyone, Lee here again, with your Tuesday Challenge.

I'd like to see you scrap at least two Landscape oriented photos - I am sure you all have plenty of those in your happy snap collections!

For my page, I used the beautiful February kit - the gorgeous "Life is Beautiful" border 12x12 piece was perfect for placing some landscape photos (and I would imagine two portrait pics would work just as well in the other orientation!). I have used this kit for so many pages/cards now that it is all but used up - such great value!

I have also put to work the lovely Maya Road tiny Doily stamps and scallop punch, added the Threading Water border punch, and some Carolees tiny alphas to finish off the title - all available in the shop.

Thanks so much for looking, I can't wait to see what you come up with using your landscape photos!

Weekend Challenge

Hi everyone,

My challenge for you is to make a card or layout only using scraps from a designer kit. Doesn't matter what month it was from.

This card is for an engagement we are going to next week. It is all I have left from the Feb kit. Sorry about the scan it was a little lumpy.

I have used a MS border punch.

Ohh dear, my ribbon doesn't look straight here, but is IRL, must have been a bit squashed in the printer...oops...lol.

Have fun.
Marg.

Tuesday Challenge - featuring the February D'luxe Designer Kit

Here is your Tuesday challenge - scrap a baby photo! I'd also like to see some form of ink/mist/paint on your page.

All the items on my page come from the gorgeous February D'luxe Designer Kit. Be quick over to the shop to grab yourself one, I don't think Marg has many left!

I have just added some glimmer mist (grey and blue), and used some punches, including the Martha Stewart doily lace punch, and the Marvy extra large scallop punch (along with my trusty circle punches!).

Thanks for looking!

Weekend Challenge 4/2/10 - Give me a "B"!

My challenge for you this weekend is to make a page with some "B" elements on there - it could be an embellishment starting with a b (like a brad or something), a colour starting with B, manufacturer, a word starting with B in the title, about someone or something starting with the letter B etc etc.

My page includes a b word in the title (Boy), blue patterned paper, a button (from the Bella range!), brads, chipboard items from Basic Grey, as well as being about my little fella Baxter!

SUPPLIES: Patterned Paper - the new monster range by Jilliebean Soup Marg has in the shop (see What's New section of the shop for Jan 11th), Kraft cardstock, Basic Grey "Oliver" chipboard elements (Boy & the star in the title, and the Journaling block), Bella Summerhouse blue button, Kaiser christmas round brad (from the December kit), Nestabilites scalloped square diecut block from red cardstock, new Sassafrass Lass Green Graph alphas (the All - also found in the What's New section of the shop for Jan 11th).

Thanks for looking, please share your take on this challenge by linking back here or uploading your page to the CPC gallery!
