weekend challenge

Hi there everyone,

My turn for a challenge. Thought I would share a card that is going to be for this weeks class.

I saw this flower somewhere and thought it would be fun to make...

First get together the bits you need, to make this one I have punched 8 aprox 1 1/2" circles and cut a motif spellbinder circle...you just need one bigger than the little ones...IYKWIM. then your papers and card if making a card.

Now fold each of the small circles in half twice, as per the pic (sorry the flash was a bit bright) then you just fold on one half of the circle from where the fold lines are...check out the pic, bit hard to explain.

Now fold those bits back toward the middle..check the pic....then all you do it find the middle of your large circle, and sitck them all down....looks great and very easy.

This is the finished card, just popped a brad in the middle to finish the flower.

Please have a go and share with us what you come up with. Have a wonderful weekend.

Thursday is all about Colour...

Hi all on this frosty cool morning,

I thought because it was so cold today (and winter is only just starting... LOL - how am I going to be when June/July come?) I thought that I would give you a nice warm colour combination to create a layout with.

Don't these colours just make you feel warmer????

So using this colour combination I would like you to create  a project that is warm.  It can be  a card, OTP or a layout.

Have fun, and hope you feel warm...

Tuesday Challenge.

Hi everyone,
My challenge for you is to do a page or cards using mainly one colour.
Have have used some green papers to make these cards that we did for our card class a few weeks ago.

I have used some Kaiser flower stamps, MS around the page punch, lots of spellbinder edge dies and other dies as well as Sizzix die for the green dot flower.

Have a play and share with us in the gallery or on the blog.

Have fun,

Marg.

Tuesday Blog Challenge ( on a Monday...LOL!)

Hey everyone, hope you are having  a fantastic week so far!

Here is my Tuesday Challenge for this week - I hope you forgive me that I am posting it on a Monday though, tomorrow is going to be crazy busy!

Your challenge is to create a layout with die cuts or punches! Here is my creation:

My page uses the following die cuts: Pink diecut swirl - Bo Bunny "Noteworthy" range, Bird image - Authentique "Gathering" Icons die-cut, and the flowers are one that the fabulous Marg put together, using vintage paper and a Tim Holtz sizzix die.

OTHER SUPPLIES: PP - Authentique "Gathering" range, Bloom PP (dots), Ruby Rockit "Nostalgia" range, Nevermore PP (words sheet behind photo)
TITLE LABEL: "Beautiful" - Ruby Rockit "Nostalgia" Tokens stickers
QUOTE & KEY & LABEL STICKERS: October Afternoon "Farmhouse" range word stickers

Cant wait to see what you make!

Cheers, Lee :)
